KATHMANDU: Anjan Shrestha has formally taken charge as the President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

He assumed office during a ceremony held at the FNCCI central office on Thursday.

Outgoing president Chandra Dhakal handed over the leadership responsibilities.

Along with Shrestha, newly elected office bearers also took charge of their respective roles.

After assuming office, President Shrestha said he would continue dialogue and cooperation with the government to create an environment that boosts confidence in the private sector.
