KATHMANDU: The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) has appointed lawmaker Roshani Meche as its chief whip in the National Assembly.

The appointment was made by UML Parliamentary Party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa on behalf of the party’s National Assembly parliamentary team.

Meche was elected to the National Assembly from Koshi Province in January 2026.
