KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has claimed that the government’s policies and programmes were prepared by incorporating shared concerns and key priorities raised by all political parties.

Responding to questions raised during discussions on the government’s policies and programmes in Thursday’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Minister Wagle said the government would embrace constructive suggestions from all sides.

“The government has taken the received suggestions, important views and reflections seriously,” he said.

“We have prepared a common policy and programme by incorporating the shared and important agendas related to national interest raised by all parties,” he said.

He further added, “Constructive criticism, recommendations for improvement, and alternative perspectives received from honourable lawmakers will also serve as a basis for future implementation and policy revisions. We will further mature and strengthen debates related to nation-building.”
