School principal Lok Bahadur Magar said he personally arranged transportation to take the children to Bharatpur Hospital after seeing them brought to a nearby health post.
According to senior physician and assistant medical superintendent Dr. Pramod Paudel, 12-year-old Manita Chepang remains in critical condition and is being prepared for ventilator support.
The children had eaten the wild mushrooms along with their parents, Shyam Bahadur and Padmamaya Chepang. Ward chairperson Santa Bahadur Magar said the parents are also being brought to the hospital, as symptoms in adults may appear later.
