KATHMANDU: The Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday afternoon decided to provide financial incentives to people relocated from high-risk settlements so they can arrange alternative housing on their own.

Families with more than five members will receive an additional Rs 2,000 per month for each extra member. The assistance will initially be provided for three months.
