KATHMANDU: Nepal is set to play against the Maldives today in their third and final Group A match of the ongoing CAVA Women’s Volleyball Championship in Kathmandu.

The match between Nepal and the Maldives will kick off at 5:00 PM at the Dasharath Stadium Covered Hall in Tripureshwor, and fans can watch the live broadcast on the Himalaya Sports channel.

Having registered one win and one loss in its previous two matches, Nepal currently sits in second place in the group standings with 4 points.

On the other hand, the Maldives have already been eliminated from the group stage after losing both of their previous matches.

Nepal now aims to secure a spot in the semifinals by defeating a comparatively weaker Maldivian side.

Earlier in the tournament, Nepal faced a narrow defeat against their familiar rivals, India, in a highly competitive five-set thriller during their opening match.

Nepal strongly revived their semifinal prospects by defeating Kyrgyzstan in straight sets in their second match.
