Economic Survey: Nepal’s per capita GDP projected to reach USD 1,513

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to hit USD 1,513 in the current fiscal year.

According to the Economic Survey released by the Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Wednesday, the nation’s per capita Gross National Income (GNI) is estimated to reach USD 1,535, while the per capita Gross National Disposable Income is expected to touch USD 2,044.

The survey highlights a significant wealth gap between regions, with Bagmati Province recording the highest per capita income at USD 2,644.

In contrast, Madhesh Province lags behind with the lowest projected per capita income in the country at USD 934.
