ILAM: One person was killed and two others injured after a pickup truck veered off the road and plunged about 100 meters in Suryodaya Municipality-04, Ilam.

According to Nepal Police, the vehicle (Pra 1-01-001 Ja 3532) went out of control at Khadka Gaun, resulting in the death of the driver, identified as 45-year-old Bilas Rai of Bamjam Danda, Suryodaya-04. Two passengers, 20-year-old Kundan Waiba and 43-year-old Bishal Thulung Rai, both from Sribung, sustained injuries in the crash.

The injured are receiving treatment at Shree Nidhi Hospital in Fikkal, Ilam. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
