SIRAHA: Police have arrested 25 youths and seized 21 motorcycles for allegedly engaging in activities that disrupted public peace and spread fear in the community.

According to police, the youths had formed various groups on social media platforms, including TikTok and Facebook, where they regularly shared abusive, offensive, and threatening content.

Authorities said the group was also involved in creating public disturbances, violating traffic regulations, and causing panic by engaging in reckless behavior and excessive noise on public roads.

Among those arrested, 12 are from Balan Bihul Rural Municipality in Saptari district, while the remaining 13 are from different parts of Siraha district.

Police confiscated 21 motorcycles used by the group during the operation. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
