KATHMANDU: Rulwang in Rolpa district recorded the highest rainfall in the country over the past hour, measuring 15.4 mm of precipitation.
Currently, light to moderate rainfall is being reported across several parts of Nepal. The affected areas include a few locations within the hilly and mountainous regions of Sudurpashchim, Karnali, Lumbini, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces, as well as one or two isolated pockets in the hilly terrain of Bagmati province.
According to Meteorological Forecating Division, the rain is expected to persist in these specific regions for some time. However, a gradual improvement in weather conditions across the country is projected from this evening onward.
