KATHMANDU: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dilip Ghimire officially took command of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, on Thursday following his transfer by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday.

He succeeds outgoing SSP Ramesh Thapa, who has been reassigned to the Research, Planning, and Development Directorate at the Police Headquarters.
