KATHMANDU: A two-day national workshop titled “Preparing Future-Ready Educators with Digital Pedagogy and AI Skills” commenced today at Tribhuvan University’s Central Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (CDJMC).

Inaugurating the event, Prof. P. Kharel emphasized the critical need for the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence in both classrooms and newsrooms.

In his keynote address, Department Head Dr. Kundan Aryal highlighted that digital technologies are no longer just teaching tools, but vital parts of the modern media ecosystem that educators must master.

Led by a panel of distinguished media experts and academics, the workshop is being attended by journalism faculty from across the country. The program aims to equip educators with the necessary digital skills to prepare students for a rapidly evolving media landscape.
