KATHMANDU: At least 11 people were killed and 119 others injured in road accidents reported across Nepal over the past 24 hours, according to official data released by Nepal Police.
Bagmati Province recorded the highest number of fatalities, accounting for nine of the 11 deaths nationwide. Meanwhile, accidents in other provinces resulted in additional casualties and injuries, highlighting the continued toll of road crashes across the country.
Authorities have urged drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations as efforts continue to improve road safety and reduce accident-related deaths and injuries.
