RAUTAHAT: A free eye check-up camp was held in Gaur, benefiting over 500 individuals on Saturday.
The Gaur Eye Hospital and Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangha, jointly conducted eye check-up at three different sites as part of extensive health campaign.
This initiative was aimed at individuals of all ages, from children to senior citizens. In collaboration with the Seva Foundation, a specialized eye check-up programme was organized for children from both private and public schools.
The eye tests and consultations were carried out by Ophthalmologist Shiv Kumar Yadav, vision specialist Poonam Yadav, and a technical team comprising approximately 15 members.
During the check-up, free glasses were provided to 83 visually impaired children.
Ophthalmologist Yadav emphasized that the prompt identification and treatment of visual impairments can significantly enhance children’s academic performance and daily activities.
