KATHMANDU: Makwanpurgadhi in Hetauda recorded the highest rainfall in Nepal during the past hour, receiving 17 millimeters of precipitation, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, is currently affecting parts of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
Meteorologists said the weather system remains active and is expected to continue producing rainfall across the affected regions in the coming hours.
Officials have advised residents in areas experiencing thunderstorms to remain alert and take necessary precautions as unstable weather conditions persist.
