KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned for 15 minutes. Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal suspended the session after lawmakers from the Shram Sanskriti Party continuously surrounded the rostrum in protest.

The lawmakers belonging to the party had been constantly protesting, claiming that the minister failed to answer the questions they raised. Speaker Aryal repeatedly requested the lawmakers to take their seats and assist in running the meeting.

Discussions are currently underway in the House of Representatives regarding the answers and clarifications on the questions raised during the debate on the Appropriation Bill.
