KATHMANDU: Six people were killed and 116 others sustained injuries in various road accidents across the country within a 24-hour period, according to official data of Nepal Police.
According to the official infographic report titled 11asar.jpeg, Madhesh Province suffered the highest toll with three fatalities and 42 injuries.
Koshi Province and the Kathmandu Valley recorded one death each, with 33 and 22 injuries respectively. Another individual was killed in Sudurpashchim Province.
While Lumbini, Karnali, and Bagmati provinces reported a combined total of 17 injuries, Gandaki Province recorded zero casualties during the 24-hour window.
