KATHMANDU: Swarnim Wagle has secured a thumping victory, topping the charts with the highest number of votes in the election for the central committee member post of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

According to the final election results, Wagle secured 2,656 votes, outperforming all other candidates vying for the central leadership positions.

Throughout the voting process, he garnered substantial support from both domestic convention delegates and representatives of the party’s overseas committees.

The counting of votes commenced immediately after the polling concluded this morning.

While Wagle’s top-spot victory has been officially confirmed, election officials are currently in the process of announcing the remaining final results for other positions.
