KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming attended the 2026 China-Nepal Youth Forum virtually, emphasizing the role of young people in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation between the two countries.

Addressing the forum, Ambassador Zhang said youth hold the key to the future of both countries and China-Nepal relations. He expressed hope that young people would learn from each other’s experiences in national governance, actively participate in mutually beneficial cooperation and promote the friendship between China and Nepal.

The ambassador also called on young people to contribute to building a more just and equitable global governance system and a community with a shared future for humanity.
