KATHMANDU: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dol Prasad Aryal, has inspected the Nagdhunga Tunnel Project.

During his inspection, Speaker Aryal held discussions with project-affected local residents to understand their grievances regarding compensation, rehabilitation, and the impact on their daily lives.

Taking their concerns seriously, he committed to coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure a swift resolution.

He also briefed himself on the project’s progress, current construction status, and existing challenges through project officials.

Stressing the importance of timely completion for national pride projects, Speaker Aryal directed officials to prioritize local concerns and public interest.

The Nagdhunga Tunnel is expected to play a vital role in easing traffic congestion in the Kathmandu Valley.
