LALITPUR: The police have arrested a 55-year-old man for allegedly exposing his private parts to a woman in a public place at Imadol, Mahalaxmi Municipality-2, Lalitpur.

The suspect has been identified as Surendra Bhatta, a permanent resident of Patan Municipality-07, Baitadi district, currently residing in Imadol, Lalitpur.

According to law enforcement authorities, a team from the Police Circle, Satdobato, apprehended Bhatta after the victim recorded a video of the incident and shared it on social media.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Bhatta is a civil servant currently employed as an Education Officer at the Ministry of Defence in Singha Durbar.

The arrested individual is presently being held in the custody of the Police Circle, Satdobato, as further investigation into the case continues.
