KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balen Shah is set to hold his first formal meeting with representatives of Nepal’s private sector on Wednesday, marking his first direct dialogue with business leaders since taking office.
The meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
Discussions are expected to focus on the country’s economic situation, challenges facing the private sector, and ways to strengthen cooperation between the government and businesses.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the talks will include representatives from the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and other leading private-sector organisations.
