WASHINGTON: The Embassy of Nepal in Washington, DC, hosted a group of US high school students from Leadership Initiatives, in coordination with Georgetown University, for an interactive discussion on Nepal’s economic, social, and political landscape.
During the program, Chargé d’Affaires Sharad Raj Aran highlighted Nepal’s rich cultural heritage, diverse geography, and varied climate. He also encouraged the students to visit Nepal to experience the country’s natural beauty and hospitality firsthand.
The visiting delegation was led by Jenna Sackter, Program Director of Leadership Initiatives, who thanked the embassy for hosting the session.
According to the embassy, the interaction reflected the students’ strong interest in gaining a deeper understanding of Nepal and further strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries.
