KATHMANDU: Police have stepped up security measures after several vehicles were found parked under suspicious circumstances outside media houses and Bhatbhateni Supermarket locations in Kathmandu.

According to preliminary information, a vehicle parked outside the Kantipur premises was removed by police using a crane. Meanwhile, officers are searching for the owner of another vehicle that has been parked outside the Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Anamnagar since around 7:00 a.m., police said.

Similar suspicious vehicles have also been spotted parked right outside the main gates of Onlinekhabar and Himalayan Television.
