KATHMANDU: Nepal’s U-19 women’s cricket team secured its second consecutive dominant win in the ACC U-19 Women’s Premier Cup, thrashing Hong Kong by a massive 181 runs.

Batting first, Nepal posted a monumental 211 runs at the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, powered by captain Sony Pakhrin’s brilliant 90 off 60 balls and opener Sabitri Dhami’s 52 runs off 36 balls.

In response, Hong Kong’s batting lineup collapsed entirely, with only one batter reaching double digits.

Captain Pakhrin shined with the ball as well, taking 4 wickets for just 4 runs in her 4-over spell to wrap up an easy victory.

This follows Nepal’s 151-run victory over Singapore in their opening match.
