KATHMANDU: Traffic has resumed on major highways, including the Prithvi Highway, allowing vehicles stranded by continuous rainfall since Monday night to continue toward their destinations.

Operations also resumed at the New Buspark after the highway reopened at 10 AM on Tuesday. Long-distance buses have begun departing from the buspark, while passengers have also started arriving as transport services gradually return to normal.
