A youth has been arrested with 1.50 gm heroin from Jamunaha in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan-15.

The name of the 16-year-old who has been arrested has not been disclosed. He is a local resident of Madhuban Municipality in Bardiya district.

The accused was entering Nepal from India when he was caught. Security personnel deployed from the Jamunaha-based Area Police Office nabbed him with the substance during a routine check. He had hidden the heroin in the battery space of a mobile phone.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
