KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment has opened applications for the Korean language test under the Employment Permit System (EPS), with South Korea seeking 7,200 Nepali workers.
The quota includes 5,000 jobs in manufacturing, 2,000 in agriculture and livestock, and 100 each in the service and forestry sectors. Online applications will be accepted from July 27 to August 2.
Applicants must be 18–39 years old, have no criminal record or history of illegal stay or deportation from South Korea, and must meet Nepal’s overseas employment requirements.
The application fee is USD 28, and successful candidates’ language test results will remain valid for two years.
