KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a target of 158 runs for the Netherlands in their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 match.

After losing the toss and being invited to bat first in Utrecht, Netherlands, Nepal was bowled out for 157 runs in 44.4 overs. Aarif Sheikh top-scored for Nepal with 41 runs. Similarly, Gulsan Jha contributed 29 runs, Dipendra Singh Airee made 21, Aasif Sheikh added 14, and Karan KC remained undefeated on 13 runs. The other batsmen failed to make significant contributions.

On the bowling side, Alex Roy and Roelof van der Merwe took three wickets each for the Netherlands. Logan van Beek claimed two wickets, while Kyle Klein picked up one.

Chasing the 158-run target, the Netherlands is currently batting.
