JANAKPUR: Education and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel stated that structural reforms in the education sector and quality teaching-learning must be prioritized according to the needs of the times.

During an inspection of Ramswarup Ramsagar Multiple Campus in Janakpurdham on Monday and a discussion with professors, Minister Pokharel expressed that campuses need to reform their teaching systems to make higher education competitive, effective, and student-friendly.

Acknowledging that as an older campus, facing various challenges is natural, he directed the campus administration to enhance the quality of teaching and learning over time and to control dishonest/disorderly activities during examinations.
