KATHMANDU: Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Shmulik Arie Bass paid a courtesy call on Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan on Tuesday, with the meeting also highlighting longstanding cooperation in professional capacity building between the two countries.

Bass was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission Janan Bebar during the meeting at PAHS.

According to the Embassy of Israel, Pradhan is a graduate of MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, which provides professional training to participants from around the world in sectors including healthcare, agriculture, and water management.

The embassy said Pradhan’s participation in the MASHAV program reflects the growing people-to-people and institutional links between Israel and Nepal through knowledge exchange and professional development.
