A youth was arrested on charge of raping a 20-year-old girl in Parsa district on Wednesday.

The accused has been identified as Abdullah Ansari (25), a local resident of Partewa in Sugauli Rural Municipality-1 in Parsa district.

Ansari allegedly raped the girl by entering her home through the bedroom window when her husband was out of home due to some work. Parsa-based District Police Office (DPO) personnel nabbed the accused after an FIR was filed by the victim.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed DPO, Parsa.
