Police in Parsa district on Wednesday evening arrested two persons on charge of stealing a motorcycle.

The arrested have been identified as Dipak Kumar Yadav (26), a local resident of Parwanipur Rural Municipality-2 in Bara district, and Sagar Patel (22), a resident of Parsa Kalikamai Rural Municipality-3 in Parsa district.

They allegedly stole the motorcycle with vehicle registration number NA 40 PA 4203 parked at Birgunj Metropolitan-13 on Tuesday.

They were riding on the stolen motorcycle towards the Dry Port from Parwanipur. Security personnel deployed from the Parsa-based District Police Office (DPO) nabbed them and also seized the motorcycle.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said DPO, Parsa.
