PM Oli had on Thursday invited all senior leaders including Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal for the Central Committee meeting that is scheduled for 11 am today. However, the faction led by senior leaders Nepal and Khanal had issued a statement on Thursday itself stating they had decided not to attend the central committee meeting.

Senior leader of the Nepal-Khanal faction, Bhim Rawal, had mentioned the meeting of the faction held in Buddhanagar had unanimously decided not to attend the meeting.

Oli had immediately called Nepal after the faction made its decision public not to attend the meeting and requested him to participate in the Central Committee meeting.
