The government has recommended new ambassadors for India, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

The cabinet meeting that was held today recommended Shankar Sharma for ambassador to India; Shreedhar Khatri for the United States and Gyanchandra Acharya for the United Kingdom.

There is a provision for the President to appoint ambassadors if the recommended candidates are approved by the parliamentary hearings.
