Two children drowned in Mohana River at Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-3 today.

The deceased have been identified as Anup Chaudhary, 10, and Bishnu Gupta, 12, of the same ward, said Bed Prakash Joshi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office.

It is learned that both the children drowned while bathing in the river near the bridge connecting Chatakpur and Rajghat.
