KATHMANDU: In the first 11 months of the current fiscal year, a total of 10,845 electric vehicles (EVs) worth Rs 25.55 billion have been imported.

According to the Department of Customs, various models of electric vehicles ranging from 50 kW to 201 kW capacity were imported during this 11-month period.

During this timeframe, 3,680 electric vehicles with a capacity of up to 50 kW, valued at Rs 5.65 billion, were imported.

In the same period, 6,357 electric vehicles ranging from 51 kW to 100 kW capacity, worth Rs 16.49 billion, entered the country
