CAAN slashes domestic airfares following fuel price cut

KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has ordered domestic airlines to immediately reduce fuel surcharges after the Nepal Oil Corporation slashed aviation fuel prices by Rs 40 per liter.

CAAN’s Air Transport Department warned that any airline failing to implement the lower fares will face strict legal action.

The revised rates will significantly lower travel costs for both accessible and remote domestic flight routes.
