KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices declined in the market today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of gold fell by Rs 400 per tola (11.66 grams), bringing it down to Rs 296,700 today. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 297,100 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also decreased. Silver dropped by Rs 75 per tola and is now being traded at Rs 4,900 per tola. The previous day, silver was priced at Rs 4,975 per tola.
Overall, despite today’s decline, gold prices have increased by Rs 5,300 per tola over the past week.
