KATHMANDU: Electricity supply will be suspended for 3.5 hours daily over three days in several parts of Kathmandu as the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) replaces aging conductors on the 132 kV Syuchatar-Matatirth transmission line.

According to the NEA, areas served by the Thankot and Satungal feeders under the Kuleshwor Distribution Center will experience outages from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The affected locations include parts of Balambu, Naikap, Dahachowk, Dhungedhara, Chundevi, Shrijana Chowk, Sinchaphant, Dhaulagiri Gate, and nearby areas.

The utility said the maintenance work is aimed at improving network reliability, adding that the schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
