KATHMANDU: A case has been filed against medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai at the Parsa District Court on charges of cybercrime and offenses against the state, according to the Parsa Police.

As the recording of Prasai’s statement could not be completed today, the court has remanded him back to custody, with orders to present him again tomorrow, Tuesday.

The police had arrested Prasai from Hotel Diyalo in Birgunj on May 18.

According to the police, he was apprehended for making public statements that undermine public morality and decency, incite hatred or malice against others, and disturb the harmonious relations between various castes and communities.
