Deepak Khadka remanded to custody for seven more days

KATHMANDU: Deepak Khadka, a leader of the Nepali Congress and former Energy Minister, has been ordered to remain in custody for an additional seven days.

The District Court Kathmandu granted the extension to allow further investigation into a money laundering case against him. Earlier, following his initial arrest, the court had provided a 10-day remand period for investigation.
