RUKUM: Eight people, including the driver, were injured when a jeep met with an accident on the Rapti Highway at Dangimod in Tribeni Rural Municipality-6 of Rukum Paschim.

The vehicle (Lu 2 Kha 4980), which was heading towards Musikot Khalanga from Tulsipur in Dang, went out of control and overturned on the road on Friday evening.

The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the District Hospital in Salle, and an investigation into the accident is underway, according to Police Inspector Hemanta Giri, the Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rukum Paschim.
