Four injured in Humla jeep accident

HUMLA: Four people were injured when a passenger jeep met with an accident along the Tanglathung-Hilsa road section at Dharapori in Simkot Rural Municipality-7, Humla.

The accident occurred when the jeep, bearing the registration number Karnali Province 02-001 Ja 0701, skidded off the road and fell approximately 100 meters down.

The injured have been identified as the jeep driver, 28-year-old Ramesh Sijapati of Barahatal Rural Municipality-7, Surkhet, and passengers from Simkot Rural Municipality-7, Tanglathung, including 28-year-old Ganga Bahadur Shahi, 55-year-old Gangasara Shahi, and 40-year-old Gokul Shahi.

The victims were rescued immediately following the incident and have been rushed to the District Hospital in Simkot for treatment.
