CHITWAN: Prime Minister and senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra Shah, who had gone to Chitwan to attend the party’s general convention, has returned to Kathmandu.

According to Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal, he returned to Kathmandu via a flight at 11:31 AM today.

Prime Minister Shah had addressed the opening session of the party’s general convention on Sunday and participated in the closed session on Tuesday.

Shah has been elected as the senior leader from the convention.

While in Chitwan, he also visited the Elephant Breeding Center in Sauraha and the Chitwan National Park.
