KALIKOT: The Karnali Highway has been blocked due to a landslide that occurred last night in Gagane Khola, Kalikot.

Saurabh Kumar Singh, the Information Officer at the Road Division Office in Jumla, informed that the road was blocked after continuous rainfall triggered the landslide in Gagane Khola.

According to the office, work to clear the landslide has been underway since 3:00 AM.

He mentioned that necessary coordination is being carried out with the Road Division in Surkhet for this purpose.

Through a public notice, the office has advised everyone to travel with caution during the rainy season and to avoid traveling at night.
