KATHMANDU: The ministry of foreign affairs (MoFA) hosted the mid-program interaction and discussion session for the MoFA summer internship and fellowship program 2026 at the ministry.

The event served as a structured research engagement session, bringing together cohort members—who participated both physically and virtually—and senior ministry officials.

During the session, all cohort members presented their respective research questions, methodologies, and areas of inquiry to officials representing various divisions of the ministry of foreign affairs, Nepal.

In response to the presentations, under secretaries from the respective divisions offered institutional perspectives, identified specific policy focal points, and provided strategic guidance to help sharpen the research agendas of the participants.

The session was chaired by former ambassador and joint secretary Ram Kaji Khadka, head of the Central Asia, West Asia, and Africa division.

The organizers and cohort members expressed their gratitude to the ministry of foreign affairs, Nepal, for hosting the seminar, as well as to all the participating officials who contributed their time and expertise to directly engage with the cohort’s research work.
