KATHMANDU: Blood availability details across the country can now be viewed through the Nagarik App.

With the addition of the “Blood Information” (Rakta Suchana) portal to the Nagarik App, users can now get real-time information on how many units of specific blood groups are available at various blood transfusion centers.

According to the Ministry of Health and Food Safety, this feature allows users to check the stock of different blood groups available at blood transfusion centers nationwide all from a single place.

Users will be able to easily find out exactly where and in what quantity their required blood group is available directly through the app.

This service has been integrated into the Nagarik App with the aim of making healthcare access more effective, transparent, and tech-friendly.

The initiative is expected to help patients and their relatives quickly find necessary information during emergencies, simplify blood management, and improve the overall coordination of blood transfusion services.
