BHAKTAPUR: The All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) staged a protest outside the National Examination Board (NEB) in Bhaktapur on Friday, alleging serious errors in the publication and evaluation process of the Grade 12 results.
The student union demonstrated against the inaccuracies and criticized the lack of an effective system for re-evaluation and re-totaling.
Protesters carrying placards with slogans such as “Stop injustice against students,” “End irregularities in education,” and “Maintain educational justice” demanded a thorough investigation into the discrepancies.
ANNFSU leaders stated that the demonstration was organized to push for crucial reforms in the education sector, warning that errors made in the rush to publish results quickly have put the future of students at risk.
The student body has urged the government to take immediate action against the officials responsible for these careless mistakes.
