KATHMANDU: The senior-most member of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narsingh KC, has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath to Member of Parliament (MP) KC during a ceremony organized at Shital Niwas. KC is the senior-most member among those elected in the House of Representatives member election held on March 5.

A program has been scheduled for the senior-most member KC to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the elected members of the House of Representatives on Thursday.

In the House of Representatives election, 165 members were elected through the First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) system and 110 members through the proportional representation (PR) system. KC is an MP elected through the proportional representation system, representing the Nepali Congress.
